Mapei Nivoplan Levelling Mortar
Nivoplan is a dry-powder mortar of cement, selected aggregates and special synthetic resins for levelling and repair of interior/exterior walls and ceilings, with single-layer application from 2 to 20 mm. The finished surface is level and firm, ready for tiling or painting. Complies with EN 998-1 as GP (general purpose mortar for interior/exterior walls), strength class CS IV, with good workability and durability.

Applications
- Levelling walls and ceilings before tiling
- Repair of old or damaged render layers
- Levelling concrete surfaces of swimming pools and exterior walls (before tiling or waterproofing)
- Levelling of foamed concrete, brick walls, Eracrit and other substrates
Advantages
- Wide application range — single coat from 2 mm to 20 mm, reducing multi-layer application
- Strong adhesion — good bond to concrete, brick and foamed cement; Planicrete resin emulsion can be added to further boost bond strength (especially for thin layers or subsequent stone/tile installation)
- Suitable for damp substrates — can be applied to slightly moist surfaces without affecting adhesion (only slightly longer curing time)
- Fast drying — at 23°C / 50% RH on medium-absorbency substrates, a 1 cm layer can be tiled after approx. 12 hours
- Machine application possible — spray machine or trowel; thixotropic, low sag on vertical surfaces
- Durable and stable — flexural strength 3.5 N/mm², compressive strength ≥ 6 N/mm² (CS IV for both white and grey), resistant to acids, alkalis, oils (except vegetable oils) and solvents, service temperature -30°C to +90°C
